Frequently asked questions
How do WhatsApp messages work for teachers?
By default each message opens WhatsApp with the text filled in, and you tap send from your own number. With a WhatsApp Business API account, messages are sent automatically.
What does it cost for teachers?
Start with a free trial. After that there is a one-time registration fee, and a small monthly charge per student you teach. See Pricing for the current amounts.
Can teachers export their data?
Yes. Fee dues, payments, attendance and results download as CSV files that open in Excel or Google Sheets.
How do students find me?
Once your profile is approved by the GuruMentra team it appears in the directory. Students search by subject, city and mode, and send an enquiry you can answer by phone or WhatsApp.
Do I need to install an app?
No. GuruMentra works in the browser on any phone, tablet or computer. There is also an Android app on Google Play.
